Uploads appear for everyone the moment they land, no refresh needed. Leave the album open on a phone between the glasses, or up on the venue screen, and the party watches itself arrive.
Guests keep adding as the night goes on, and the newest shots are always at the top when you look.
You stay in charge of it while it runs: approve, hide, or reorder from the same page, without stopping anybody uploading.
What lands in your album.
The fine print, without the squinting: who gets credited, what fits, and what your guests never have to do.
- Attribution
- Signed-in guests pick a display name once, and it travels with every shot they add. Where you allow anonymous uploads, those show as “Anonymous” in the album.
- Per-file ceiling
- Up to 10 GB per photo or video (video uploads on Pro and Event Pass). Size is the only gate; there is no duration cap on video.
- Your own cap
- Prefer a tighter rein for one event? Set a per-upload limit from presets that run all the way down from No limit:No limit5 GB2 GB1 GB500 MB250 MB100 MB25 MB
- Nothing to chase
- No app to install and no passwords to invent. Guests verify an email with a one-time code only when you require accounts (on by default for new events); otherwise they just upload.
Albums do not expire.
An event stays up until you decide otherwise, so the album keeps working long after the last dance.
No expiry date
The album never quietly disappears. It stays live until you delete the event, and deleting is always your call, not a countdown.
A 30-day safety net
Deleted photos and videos wait 30 days in the recovery bin before they are gone for good, so a slip of the thumb is not a disaster.
Common questions
What file types can guests upload?
Photos as JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, or AVIF on every plan, and videos as MP4, MOV, or WebM on events hosted with Pro or Event Pass. Each file can be up to 10 GB.
Does Partyreel compress photos or videos?
No. Uploads keep their full resolution on the way in, and downloads come back out at the same quality. There is no messaging-app squeeze anywhere in between.
Do guests need the app or an account?
There is no app at all; the album runs in the phone's browser. Guests only confirm their email with a one-time code when the host requires accounts, and that single tap doubles as the whole sign-up.
