Find your uploads, and the events you added to

Updated September 29, 2026 · 5 min read

In short

Every event you add a photo to stays on your dashboard, marked Guest, and your photos and likes live on your profile. Confirm an email typed at the door to review what waited for you.

An event link is easy to lose. The photos you add are not: once your email is confirmed, every event you've added to lives on your dashboard, and everything you've added or liked across every event lives on your profile.

The events you added to

Adding a photo or video to an event is what keeps it. Every event you've added to appears on your dashboard among your events, marked Guest, and it stays for as long as you have an upload in it, even one still waiting for the host's review. Delete your last upload there and the card goes with it.

Tap the Partyreel logo, top left, from anywhere in the app. To see only the events you added to, open the Show menu and pick Guest. If a host later closes the album to everyone, its card locks and reads The host made this event private. Behind a password or another gate, the card keeps its name and still opens straight to the album: a gate stops newcomers, and you're already in.

Keep what you add

Right after your first photo lands, the door you joined through reopens one last time to offer keeping it: Confirm your email takes an emailed code (or Continue with Google) and makes a free account. Your photos move into that account and the event comes with them, so it joins your dashboard, and the name you typed at the door becomes the account's too: it greets you with something like "You're on as Priya", with a Change if that's not right. Maybe later puts it down for that event, on that device: add to another event, or open this one on another phone, and it offers again. The same door is in the menu under your name at the top of the album, and on the small mark beside your name on your own photos.

Your profile

  1. Account menu
  2. Your profile

Your own photos, likes, and the people you follow live on your profile page, private to you even though the rest of the page is public.

  • Your uploads is every photo and video you've added to any event, newest first, up to your most recent 200. Tap one to open it, save it, or delete it.
  • Your likes is every photo you've hearted, on any event.

Uploads you made before signing in

If you added photos under a typed display name and later confirm your email on the same phone and browser, Partyreel attaches those uploads to your account, and the events they're in join your dashboard; when that happens somewhere other than the album you're looking at, it says We added your uploads to your account. They lose the small unverified mark and appear under Your uploads on your profile. This works from the same phone and browser only, because that's what Partyreel can recognize as you.

Claim photos added under your email, from any device

If you typed your email at an event that didn't need a confirmed one, it's held quietly against those uploads until you prove it's yours, however long that takes. Confirm that same address later, on any device, and a line above your events on your dashboard says how many photos are waiting for you. Tap Review whenever you like: Photos waiting for you opens beside your dashboard (on a phone, as its own screen) and goes through them one event at a time, each with a few of the photos added there so you can tell whether they were yours. An album behind a password or another gate, or closed to everyone, shows a lock instead.

Tap Claim on an event that was really you. It's saved the moment you tap: the photos lose the unverified mark, move under Your uploads on your profile, and bring the event to your dashboard. Each event you claim offers Open album, and a small Follow for its host when they have a profile. Tap Not mine on one that wasn't: a confirmation asks before the photos and videos added under your email there are permanently deleted, and only Delete deletes them. If someone else used your address without you, this is how you undo it.

You can stop at any point. What you've decided stays decided, the rest keeps waiting above your events, and nothing is ever deleted unless you confirm it.

Delete one of your own uploads

Open the photo, either right on the album or from Your uploads on your profile, and tap delete. The confirmation reads Delete this upload? and says exactly what happens: it's deleted from the event right away and can't be recovered, not by you and not by the host, because it never goes to the host's Deleted. This works whether you're signed in or not: signed in, it's any upload of yours, in any event, from any device, ever; without signing in, it works only from the same phone and browser you uploaded from. If neither applies (an unverified upload from a different phone), ask the host, who can still remove it.

If the host asks for an upload before the album opens, deleting your last upload closes the album to you again until you add another; the confirmation says so before you delete. A photo the host removes never closes it.

One exception, for hosts: a photo you added to an event you host goes to that event's Deleted when you delete it from Your uploads, and you can restore it there for 30 days, the same as anything you remove as the host.

One account, both sides

The same free account hosts events too. New event on your dashboard is the start of how Partyreel works from the other side.
