Two things carry your name beyond your own photos: the event's guest list, which the host controls, and your profile page, which you control. Here's exactly what each shows.
The guest list on an album
Every event page can have a Guests section naming the people who added photos while signed in, with their profile photos. It appears only if the host turns it on, and only to people who can already open the album. Anonymous uploads are never listed, and neither are emails; it's names and faces only.
There's no per-guest opt-out on the event itself. If you'd rather not be on a list at all, the three ways are to add photos without signing in (when the host allows it), to ask the host to remove your uploads, or to delete your own uploads from your dashboard; see save an event, and find your uploads later.
Your profile page
If you claim a profile handle, you get a page at partyreel.com/u/your-name. It shows your name and photo, the events you host and choose to publish, and, under "Also at", public events you joined whose hosts turned on their guest list. Those "Also at" entries are names only, with no link into the album.
You choose which joined events appear there:

Flip an event off and it disappears from your profile. That doesn't take you off the event's own guest list; the host controls that.
Without a handle, you have no public page at all. Claiming one is a paid feature; see your public profile, following, and blocking.
Following hosts
Anyone with an account can follow a host from their profile, and events the host publishes then show up under Following on your dashboard. Who follows whom is private to each person; there are no public follower counts anywhere on Partyreel.
What stays private, always
Your email (only an event's host sees it, on their own dashboard), your likes, your follows, and anything you uploaded anonymously. The full list is in what guests can and can't see.
