Two things carry your name beyond your own photos: the event's guest list, which every album has, and your profile page, which you control. Here's exactly what each shows.
The guest list on an album
Every event page has a Guests section naming the people who added photos, with their profile photos where they have one. It shows only to people who can already open the album. Everyone who added a photo is on it, handle or no handle, a confirmed name plain and a typed one wearing the small unverified mark. Emails are never listed; it's names and faces only.
At a big party the section shows a row of faces and how many guests added photos, and opening it lists the names a page at a time.
There's no per-guest opt-out on the event itself, and no way to add photos with no name attached at all; see an email first, explained for what the host's setting controls. If you'd rather not be on a list at all, the two ways are to not add photos to that event, or to have your uploads taken down: ask the host, or delete your own; see find your uploads, and the events you added to. Once none of your photos is left in the album, you're off its list, because a guest here is someone who added a photo.
Your profile page
If you claim a profile handle, you get a page at partyreel.com/u/your-name. It shows your name and photo, one line about you if you write one, and one group of event cards: the events you host and choose to publish, marked Host, alongside the open events you added photos to and chose to show, marked Guest. The Guest cards show the event and its cover but do not open; being on a guest list is not a way into an album. On an event that asks everyone to add a photo before the album opens, a Guest card shows only to the host and to people who have added their own photo there, the same people the album lets in.
Nothing shows on your profile until you turn it on there. You decide which of the events you added photos to appear:

- Events you added photos to
Flip an event on and it appears on your profile; flip it back off (or never turn it on at all) and it stays private there. Either way, that never takes you off the event's own guest list, which is everyone with a photo in the album.
Without a handle, you have no public page at all: your name still appears on the albums you added photos to, with nothing behind it. Claiming a handle is free on every plan, and Partyreel offers you one right after your photos land; see your public profile, following, and blocking.
Following hosts
Anyone with an account can follow a host from their profile page, and the people you follow are listed under Connections on your own profile page, where only you can see them. Who follows whom is private to each person; there are no public follower counts anywhere on Partyreel.
What stays private, always
