The event page is the album. It fills up while you watch, it's yours to browse as long as the host keeps it up, and nothing on it costs anything.
The gallery
Photos and videos appear newest first, in a grid, within seconds of someone adding them. There's no refresh button because there's nothing to refresh: the page listens for new uploads. If the host is reviewing uploads first, only approved ones appear. A blurred preview under a sheet means you haven't finished at the door yet: the sheet says what's left, an email check or a first photo of your own (see why an event asks for your email).
Videos show a play badge and play when you open them, never on their own.
The photo viewer
Tap anything to open it full-screen. Swipe (or tap the left and right edges) to move between photos; tap the middle, or the X, to close. At the bottom:
- Like: the heart. Only the host sees how many likes a photo has; it's a quiet way to tell them which shots were the good ones. See likes: who sees them and what they do.
- Save: downloads the original, full-size file to your phone.
- Share: sends the event link, so a friend lands on the whole album. It never shares a single photo file.
Under the photo you'll see who added it, confirmed or wearing the small unverified mark, and a counter of where you are in the album.
The reel
Once the album has two photos, its cover dissolves through the reel's own photos, and the cover's round play button, Watch the highlight reel, fills the screen with the reel: the whole album as a looping montage, taking in each new upload as it lands, yours included. Deep in the album, the same button waits beside the floating Add photos. Tap the picture to stop on a photo, or open the controls to pick your own style and pace (only your screen changes). Make your own turns the reel into a clip you keep. See the highlight reel and make your own clip. No play button means the album has fewer than two photos, or the host switched the reel off.
Take photos home
Select, just above the gallery beside View, turns every tile into a check. Tap the photos you want (All for everything, and once you've added some, Yours for just your own), then press Save at the foot. On a phone you choose Save to Photos, a light phone-size copy, or Save to Files, the originals in one zip; at a computer, Save gives you the zip. Invite someone
Invite, the round QR button on the cover, shows the same QR code and link the host has, so you can pass the album on to someone who wasn't there.
On a shared phone?
If you signed in to see the album on someone else's phone, use Sign out in the account menu before you hand it back. The page goes back to the preview, and so does the next person's: signing out puts down the whole ticket, not just the sign-in.
