The reel is the album playing itself: a looping montage of every photo and video guests can see, mixed afresh each time round. It starts the moment the album has two photos, and from then on each upload joins it as it lands and anything you hide drops out. Nobody makes it, renders it, or shares it. It's simply there.
Where it plays
- On the album's cover. Its pictures are the reel's own, dissolving under the event's name, and its round play button, Watch the highlight reel, opens the reel full screen. Deep in the album, the same button waits beside the floating Add photos.
- On your event page. The Highlight reel card counts to the second photo, then reads Live for guests. Tap it to watch exactly what your guests see. On an album that develops later it reads Guests get it later until the develop, and a tap plays your own reel, since your guests don't have theirs yet.
- On a screen in the room. The same reel is the display for a TV or a projector, with the event's code in the corner. See play the reel on a screen.
Watching it
Tap the picture to pause and open that photo in the photo viewer; a video carries on from the moment the reel had reached. Move the pointer, or tap the bar along the bottom, and the controls open: Pause, Videos play, the style, how long each photo holds, and Add yours for uploading straight from the reel. On a keyboard, the space bar pauses, the arrows step, and Escape closes. Each new upload names its person in a small chip in the corner as it arrives.
The style and the pace you pick are yours alone: they stay on your device, and nobody else's reel changes.

- Show the reel turns it on or off for everyone: off hides it on the album, in the reel's own view, and on any screen.
- Look is the style every guest starts on: Cinematic, Film, Pulse, Kinetic, Editorial, Sunset, Noir, or Float.
- Hold is how many seconds each photo stays up before the next.

What it plays, and what it never does
- Only what guests can see. Approved photos and videos; anything waiting in Review, hidden, or removed stays out. A clip someone added to the album is never played back inside the reel.
- Behind the same door as the album. Someone still at the door (the welcome, a password, the wait for the host) sees no reel until they're in.
- Silent. Videos play as moving pictures with no sound; Videos play switches them to stills on your screen.
- No mark and no length, on any plan. It runs as long as the album does.
- Never a file. To keep a piece of it, make your own: see make your own clip.
Two photos and it's alive
The reel starts at the second photo, so add two of your own before guests arrive. They'll meet a cover already moving, with the reel one tap away.
