There's one kind of Partyreel account. Hosts use it to run events, guests use it to save events and keep their uploads, and the same account does both. There are three ways in, and you can use whichever is handy on the day.

- partyreel.com
- Sign in
- Email and password. The sign-in page leads with this. Enter your email and password and tap Sign in.
- A code by email. Tap Email me a code instead, enter your email, and tap Email me a code. The email carries a 6-digit code and a sign-in link; type the code on the Enter your code screen, or just tap the link. No password needed.
- Google. Tap Continue with Google and pick your Google account.
Guests joining an event see the same code flow inside the event page, so a guest who later hosts already has an account.
Same email, same account
Partyreel matches accounts by verified email. Sign in with Google one day and with a code the next, and as long as both use the same address you land in the same account, with the same events. Two different addresses are two different accounts, and that includes aliases like a plus-tag on a Gmail address.
No password? That's fine
An account made with a code or with Google has no password yet. You can add one any time from your account page, or keep using codes and Google forever.

On your account page, the Password card lets you add a password if you don't have one, or change the one you have. Changing asks for your Current password first; a new password needs at least 8 characters. Tap Set password or Change password to save.
Forgot your password?
Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Partyreel emails you a code; once you enter it you're signed in and taken straight to a screen where you pick a new password. If the code doesn't show up, see the email code didn't arrive.
New here?
Tap Create account. You confirm your email with a code, then tap Pick a password to choose one (or skip straight to Google). Right after that, Partyreel asks for the name your guests will see; see your display name and photo.
Your email address
The email on your account is the one you verified. It shows on your account page under Email and can't be changed from there yet. If you need to move to a new address, send us a note from the old one.
If a sign-in keeps failing, you can't sign in walks through the usual causes.
