What the free plan includes

The free plan is a real plan, not a trial: it runs a real event, for real guests, and never expires on its own. It's nearly everything Partyreel does, sized for a small gathering.

What's included

• One event at a time. Deleting an event frees the slot.
• 100 MB of storage, about 29 photos at an iPhone's default camera settings: a small gathering's worth.
• Photos only. Guests (and you) can't upload video on a free event; the page says so if someone tries.
• Everything about the album: the live gallery, review, hide and remove, downloads for you and your guests, the guest list, and asking for an email first.
• Every door and a custom link, exactly as on the paid plans: Public, Private behind a password, your yes at the door, an invite list or only people already in, and Only me. See who can see your event and set a custom event link.
• The highlight reel, playing from the album's second photo in every mood, with no mark and no time limit.
• Clips from the reel in all 14 looks, up to 60 seconds, made at full quality with a small partyreel.com mark in the corner.

What's paid

Four things wait behind Pro & Event Pass: video uploads (adding a clip to the album among them), more storage, clips with no mark, and, on Pro, more events. Pro has unlimited events and 50 GB, 200 GB, or 1 TB of storage; an Event Pass covers one event with 25 GB for about a year, and passes stack. See Pro vs. Event Pass.

The one rule to know

No date ends an event: its date, and an end date for a run of days, only say when it happens. The one clock is the free plan's: an event nobody touches for about 24 months is warned by email, then moved to Deleted, where it can be restored for 30 days. Any activity resets it: signing in, a new upload, an edit. Paid plans are exempt. See how long your media is kept.

Moving up, and back

Upgrading is instant, from Upgrade on your account page's Plan card or from the pricing page; your event, link, and QR code don't change. If you later cancel, nothing is deleted: your album stays, and if you're over the free storage you get 45 days to make room or come back. See upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
