The album mostly runs itself. These are the handful of things worth doing before and during the event, in order. Ticks stay on this device, so you can come back to the list on the day.
Decide whether to review uploads For a wedding or anything shown on a screen in the room, turn on Review uploads before they appear so nothing goes public before you've seen it. For a casual party, leave it off and let the album fill live. See review uploads before they appear .
Print the QR code, big Download the SVG from the share dialog and print it at least the size of a coaster; bigger for a sign across a room. Keep the white border around it. See print your QR, or put it on a screen .
Test it as a guest Scan the printed code with your own phone, then open the link in a private browser window (signed in, you'd skip the email step and not see what a guest sees). Add one photo and check it lands. Do this before anything is laminated.
Put it where people already look Table cards, the bar, the welcome sign, the back of the program, the bathroom mirror. Two or three places beat one big poster.
Tell everyone once, early A line in the program or a single announcement is enough. Something like: "Scan the code on your table to add your photos to our album. No app, no sign-up, just your camera." Copy the event link too, for the group chat. See send the event link .
Seed the album Add a few photos yourself before guests arrive. An empty album asks people to go first; one with five photos in it invites them. See add your own photos .
Glance at Review during the event If you turned review on, open the event page on your phone every hour or so and tap Approve all . The bell on your dashboard counts what's waiting.
Close uploads when it's over Days later, once the last photos have trickled in, turn off Accepting uploads . The album becomes a keepsake page, and the reel moves to the top of it. See share the album after the event .

The troubleshooting guides cover the usual snags: the QR won't scan , an upload won't finish , and the messages guests might see . If you're stuck, send us a note ; every note gets a reply, usually within a day.
